A 5-Week Hands-On Business Program for Teens

Young Entrepreneurs is a 5-week interactive program where teens will learn how to turn their creativity into a real business — and then sell what they make at a summer downtown market!
This isn’t just a craft class. It’s a confidence-building, skill-growing experience designed to teach teens how businesses actually work — in a fun, supportive environment.
Hosted inside Once Upon A Time Weddings, this small-group program gives young creators the tools, mentorship, and real-world opportunity to shine.

Dates: Wednesdays for 5 weeks starting April 15th
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: Celebrate at Once Upon A Time Weddings
Ages: 12–17
Investment: $199 per student
Spots Available: 12 students maximum
💡 What They’ll Learn
Over five exciting weeks, students will:
✨ Brainstorm and choose a product to create
✨ Learn how to name and brand their business
✨ Design a logo and signage
✨ Understand cost, pricing, and profit
✨ Practice customer service and selling skills
✨ Create and prepare products for market
✨ Set up and share a real booth at the Summer Downtown Market
Each student will leave with new confidence, business knowledge, and hands-on experience selling to real customers.
🛍 Market Day Experience
The program concludes with the opportunity to sell their products at a Summer Downtown Market.
They won’t just talk about entrepreneurship — they’ll experience it.
Students will get an opportunity to sell their items for three weeks at the Strathroy Downtown Market: May 23rd, May 30th and June 6th.
